![]() ![]() Disable Transcoding - I selected the option to 'Disable video stream transcoding' the clip immediately did not play on the S5e ("unable to play media").So the good news is that both of these alternate players work with this workaround however I was not sure if these two player apps (VLC Player and MX Player) are (simply) bypassing HDR (disabling it) in order to get the clip to play? I then used VLC Media Player (plays the HDR clip instantly) and MX Player (takes some time, but does eventually play the HDR clip after initially waiting to play it till it has built a buffer). Trying another player - Last night (before your reply), I set 'External Player' to enabled (which forces Direct Play according to a warning that pops up when selecting this option).Reducing Bitrate - I had considered reducing the bitrate, but the highest setting there (other than 'Original Quality) is 20 Mbps and is 1080P, so HDR will not come into play then. Thanks for the feedback/confirmation and suggestions!
